  1. Please take your time and fill out the 2001 season summary form. So far, only one team has returned their form. Another form has been enclosed for your convenience. This is the only way the League can combine all of the teams statistics. Please fax or mail this form to the League Office before November 21. Thank You Very Much!

  2. The League's Annual Meeting will be held in December. The date has not been finalized yet, but you will be notified ASAP when it is. It is imperative for you to attend this meeting since this is where all of the planning is done for the 2002 season.

  3. Reminder - The 2001 USATF Cross Country Association USATF Jr. Olympics Meet will be held next Sunday, November 11 at 11:00 at Newport News Park. You should have received an entry form with general information by now. If you have not, please contact the League Office immediately.

  4. If you or anyone would like to help with the Cross Country Meet, contact the League Office. We need course marshals and recorders. Your services would be needed from 10:00am to 1:00pm (3 hours) on that date.

  5. If you have any concerns that you would like to address to the USATF National Office, please contact Dwight Porter @ (757) 875-1778. He will be attending the National Convention as a delegate for Youth Athletics and he can address your concerns before the Youth Committee.

  6. The 2002 season will be here soon. Now is the time to raise money for your team. For fund raising ideas, contact the league office.

  7. Congratulations to our coaches who are currently coaching football, cross country or middle school track. Keep up the Good Work!
