- We would like to welcome three new teams to our League - The Hampton Blazers, Del-Five (Richmond), and North Richmond YMCA. We now have ten teams in our League
- The State USATF Annual Meeting will be held on Sunday, February 24 at 2:00 at the Midtown Inn in Richmond. This site is right around the corner from the Sports, Virginia Office. For more info, contact the League Office.
- Highlights from the ACTL Annual Meeting that was held on December 16, 2001.
- The Hampton Blazers are now a member of our League
- Our meet is continuing to grow and teams are encouraged to help promote this year's meet.
- We need recommendations for awards - in the $20 - $25 price range. Last year we awarded portable CD's and the year before we awarded watches.
- The 4th Annual ACTL Invitational will also serve as the league Championship Meet.
- Funding will remain the same as last year.
- You should have received the official minutes from the Annual Meeting, so if you
haven't, contact the League Office ASAP.
- We are in the process of updating our - atlanticcoasttrack.org - website, so if you
have any ideas, contact the League Office.
- The teams that have expressed an interest in starting their own website will be
around the middle of March. Start thinking about what kind of information you
want on your team site. More info will be available in the next newsletter.
- The ACTL Invitational will now be a one day - June 29 - meet, instead of two
days. More information will be available this Spring.
- Our season is just around the corner. Hope all is going well with fund raising and
with other planning for the season. Have a safe and productive winter!
