  1. Congratulations to all of you for another successful season. There were several outstanding performances at both the USATF and AAU Jr. Olympics. Most of all, participation increased for most of the clubs.

  2. Please take a moment to fill out the enclosed summary sheet for the season. Do this ASAP while the numbers are still fresh in your mind. Please fax or mail this sheet to the League Office before August 31.

  3. The Virginia Association USATF Annual meeting will be held on September 8 at 2:00pm at the Midtown Inn and Conference Center, 3200 W. Broad St. in Richmond, VA. If you have a topic that you would like included on the agenda, contact Jim Holdren @ 804-740-1193 before September 1.

  4. Our meet will now be known as "The Atlantic Coast Invitational." By taking "Track League" out of the title, this should eliminate some of the confusion that our meet is only open to League teams. However, the meet will still serve as the League Championship.

  5. Our number one priority next year will be to ensure that the meet finishes on time. We will discuss how we will accomplish this at our Annual Meeting in December.

  6. If your club did not receive pictures from the meet, please contact the League Office. We still have a few pictures left that we cannot identify the team.

  7. Have a safe and productive fall. Again, please fax or mail this summary sheet to the League Office before August 31.
