We will not have an Annual Meeting in December. However, we will meet in May to discuss the logistics for the 5th Annual Atlantic Coast Invitational that will be held on June 28.
General Information for the 2003 season:
- Our number one priority is to have a first class meet that finishes on time. Last year was the first year that we did not finish on time.
- If you have any recommendations for our meet, please contact the League Office.
- Our Meet again will determine the League Champion. So far, we have had three different Champions: 2000 - Virginia Beach Pathfinders, 2001 - Suffolk Stars, 2002 - Norfolk Real Deal
- Funding will remain the same as last year.
- Please encourage your coaches to get certified as an USATF Official.
You do not have to pay sales tax for anything that you buy (uniforms, t-shits, water, etc.) for your track club. I've enclosed the application that you use to get this exemption. Please contact the League Office for information about filling out this form.
If you got certified as an USATF Official (Association) at the clinic we held at Tower Auditorium in February 2001, you will be eligible to be upgraded to a National Official this February. Ensure that your Official's resume (listing of all meets officiated during the past two years) is updated. Contact the League Office to be upgraded.
