  1. Due to Scheduling conflicts, the 5th Annual Atlantic Coast Invitational meet will now be held on Saturday, July 5 in Hampton. Please mark your calendar. Again, this meet will serve as the League Championship for the League teams.

  2. The Virginia Association AAU Annual meeting will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, February 9 @ Gloucester High School in Gloucester, VA.

  3. The Virginia Association USATF Annual meeting will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, February 16 @ the Midtown Inn in Richmond, VA (3200 West Broad Street).

  4. Please try to have a representative from your club attend the meetings. This is where the planning and scheduling is done for the upcoming season.

  5. Unofficial minutes and a schedule will be published in the next newsletter.

  6. Here is a TENTATIVE schedule for this year:

    May 3 - Del Five Invitational @ JR Tucker HS in Richmond, VA
    May 17 - Real Deal Invitational in Norfolk, VA
    June 7 & 8 - State AAU Meet in Hampton, VA
    June 14 - Greater Richmond Comets Invitational @ VSU in Petersburg, VA
    June - 21 & 22 - State USATF Meet @TBD
    June 27-29 - Regional AAU meet in Baltimore, MD
    July 5 - 5th Annual Atlantic Coast Invitational in Hampton.
    July 11-14 - Regional USATF meet in South Carolina
    July 18-20 - East Coast Inv. In Durham, NC
    July 21-26 - AAU Jr. Olympics in Detroit, MI
    July 31- Aug 3 - USATF Jr. Olympics

    Several meets will be added at the AAU and USATF meetings, and the new schedule along with the POC will be published in March
