Thank you very much for making our 5th Annual Invitational a huge success. All of our objectives - mainly having a first class meet - were met, and the meet finished before 5pm. We are considering moving this meet to another weekend so that it will not interfere with the 4th of July weekend.
Funding for Nationals was completed on July 17, and you should have received your check by now. Since this was the first year that 3rd place finishers were eligible, we had a record number 80 qualifiers.
Results from our meet are included with this newsletter. Only the top six finishers are included. If you would like a complete listing with all of the finishers, please contact the league office and a copy will be emailed to you.
There will be a coaching clinic for all of the league coaches next year in March. If you and/or your staff are interested, please let us know so that we can schedule a date. Topics will include coaching field and running events, coaching young athletes, and motivation. If you are interested in enhancing your knowledge in a particular area, please let us know.
Don't forget a listing of league records will be compiled in October based on the team records that you send in. More info will be available in the next newsletter about these records.
