  1. Two League teams will host meets within the next two weeks. Del-Five Invitational will be held on Saturday, May 1st in Richmond (Ron Roane -804-355-2075) and Real Deal Youth Track Classic will be held on Saturday, May 8th in Suffolk (Walt Green 757-494-1824). Please support our League teams' meets.
  2. Schedules, along with minutes from both the AAU and USATF Annual Meetings, were mailed to each team in March. If you did not receive your schedule, contact the League Office.
  3. There will be All Comers Meets in Portsmouth starting in late May on every Thursday @ I.C. Norcom HS. More information will be available in the next newsletter.
  4. The Virginia USATF Association Jr. Olympics will be held at Manchester HS in Midlothian, Virginia on June 12 & 13. The format will be slightly different this year with the younger age groups (TBD) competing on one day and the older age groups competing (TBD) competing on the next day. More information will be mailed to you soon with a complete schedule. Another League team, GRYA Comets will be hosting this meet.
  5. As stated in last month's Newsletter - In order to have insurance (either thru AAU or USATF) for your practices, you must have a current membership along with a current practice schedule on file with the Association. Contact Faye Alexander in Richmond @ 804-353-9348 for more information.
  6. We will be giving out watches again this year for all of the Individual winners at the 6th Annual Atlantic Coast Invitational that will be held on Saturday, June 26 at Todd Stadium in Newport News. Information booklets will be mailed around mid-May.
