- The 6th Annual Atlantic Coast Track Invitational site has changed to Darling Stadium in Hampton. The date - Saturday, June 26 - is still the same. You should have already received entry information w/ the change.
- On the entry information booklet schedule page (Atlantic Coast), there were times listed beside the running events. We will use a rolling schedule; therefore the times listed are irrelevant. Please ensure that all of your athletes, coaches, and parents are aware of this.
- The Virginia USATF Association Jr. Olympics (June 12 & 13) Championship will not change formats (younger kids one day, then older) as previously mentioned. The meet will continue using the same format that has been used (everyone competing each day) for the past four years. You should have already received entry information for this meet. If not, contact Dwight Porter @ 757-875-1778.
- There will NOT be an AAU Regional meet this year due to some scheduling conflicts. The top two in each event from the Association meet (June 19 & 20) will qualify for the AAU Jr. Olympics. All registration will be done online. For more info, contact the League Office.
- Details are still being worked out for the All-Comers meet (see last month's newsletter) that will be held on Thursdays. You will be notified ASAP once these meets are ready to start.
- We will need some volunteers to help with our meet. We are asking that each team provide at least two volunteers (you can use the shift format) to help. Duties will include posting results, raking the sand pit, retrieving the shot, etc.
- Hope everyone is off to a good start.
