- Please have your two volunteers (reference last month newsletter) report at 8:00am on Saturday Morning at Darling Stadium for the Officials Meeting. Their assignments will be given out at that time.
- League teams do not have to pay an entry fee for our meet, and this meet will also serve as the League Championship.
- The Distribution formula guidelines for League Funding for the Jr. Olympics (AAU or USATF) will remain the same as last year ($7,500 divided by the number of qualifiers). The money will be distributed after the USATF Regional.
- A qualifier is a person, or relay team member, who finished in the top two at the AAU State meet or who finishes in the top three at the USATF Regional Meet. In order to receive the funding, the athlete must compete in the Jr. Olympics. An athlete can receive double funding if he, or she, will be attending both meets.
- Please fax a copy of your athletes that qualified last weekend at the State AAU to the League Office immediately. USATF qualifiers need to fax their qualifiers no later than July 12.
- Athletes attending the National Youth Championships will be reimbursed for a top three finish at the same rate as the AAU and USATF Jr. Olympics. If you have any questions, please contact the League Office.
- Enclosed is a letter from the League President that highlights the coaches' contribution to your team. Please share this letter with your coaches.
- Have a great summer and see you on Saturday.
