- We now have our own timing system, and we will be doing timing for all of the
meets that are sponsored by our League teams.

- Highlights from the USATF Annual Meeting that was held on February 12:
- Background Investigation for all coaches will be mandatory in 2007.
- The State USATF meet will be held on June 17 & 18 @ a site TBD.
- USATF Youth national will be held on June 28 - July 2 in Greensboro, NC
- The USATF regional meet will be held on July 6 - 9 in Atlanta, GA
- The USATF Jr. Olympics will be held in Baltimore, MD on July 25 - 30

- Highlights from the AAU Annual Meeting that was held on February 19:
- The VA AAU is now located in Fredericksburg in Suite 104 @ 4802 Jefferson Davis Hwy. The Office Manager is Johnny Leach and the phone number is 540-710-1AAU (1228). The mailing Address is P.O. Box 1700, Fredericksburg, VA 22402.
- The AAU District meet will be held on June 10 & 11 @ Darling Stadium in
- Hampton. The top six will advance to the AAU Jr. Olympics which will be held @ Norfolk State Univ. on July 29 - August 5. You will be receiving more info about these meets.
- If any club would like to host the 2007 AAU District (State) meet, please contact Ron Bayton, VA AAU Track Chairman.
- AAU Club Nationals will be held on July 4 - 7 in Orlando, Florida.
