President's Message

4th Quarter, 2007

**2008 will mark the tenth year of the league’s existence. 

**We still have six of the original teams that started the league.

**Over the last nine years, the league has invested over $450,000 on the teams,  event
    awards, expenses related to the League Championship meet, qualifying funds for
    nationals, etc.

**It is money well spent.  We have received a good return on our investment.  We have
    produced many of the following:
            State champions
            Regional champions
            National champions
            NCAA champions
            Scholarship recipients
            World championship Gold medalists
            Olympic Gold medallists
            Athletes receiving professional Track and Field contracts.

Each of you should be proud of the hard work put into making the league a success.

**Our annual meeting will be held on December 9th.  I hope to get a chance to post the
    meeting agenda.  If not, Walt will make sure you get an agenda in time.

**Anyone requesting to add a topic to the agenda should contact Walt at least one week
    before the meeting.

Please keep up the good work. Our children need you!!
